About Magnesium Chloride
Magnesium Chloride is a highly soluble magnesium salt. It is supplied as flakes, crystals or solution and used wherever a source of magnesium or a hygroscopic chloride is needed.
Uses and applications
Dust control and de-icing
Used on roads and unsealed surfaces for dust suppression and as a de-icing agent.
Construction
Used in magnesium oxychloride (Sorel) cement and boards.
Agriculture and food
Used as a magnesium source for crops and as a coagulant (nigari) in tofu production.
