Polyaluminium Chloride (PAC) is an inorganic polymer coagulant. It works over a wide pH range, at lower dosages than alum, and produces less sludge.
Uses and applications
Drinking water
Removes turbidity, colour and organic matter in potable water treatment.
Wastewater
Used for municipal and industrial effluent clarification and phosphate removal.
Paper
Used as a sizing and retention aid in papermaking.
