About Sodium Dehydroacetate
Sodium Dehydroacetate is the sodium salt of dehydroacetic acid. It is a mild preservative that is effective against moulds and yeasts, and is stable in a wide pH range.
Uses and applications

Used to preserve creams, lotions, toothpaste and other personal care products, often with other preservatives.
Food
Used as a preservative in some foods in markets where it is permitted.
Pharmaceutical
Used in some topical formulations.
