About Maltodextrin

Maltodextrin is a hydrolysed starch polysaccharide with low sweetness. It is graded by dextrose equivalent (DE) and is highly soluble.

Uses and applications

Food and beverage

Used as a bulking agent, carrier and thickener in sauces, powders, drinks and sweeteners.

Sports and nutrition

Used as an energy carbohydrate in sports drinks and infant formula.

Flavours and encapsulation

Used as a carrier for spray-dried flavours and ingredients.
